#2010 Seam Filler/Wall Leveler

DESCRIPTION
SEALMARK  #2010 Seam filler / wall leveler is a  two component product packaged in a 2.5 gallon pail. Part A is a water based acrylic resin blend, drying agents, surface adhesion promoters and select fillers. Part B is a blend of ultra fine sand, premium cement and waterproofing agents that is packaged in a separate tray contained within the pail. When the 2 components are blended together they form a high solids, thixotropic coating with minimal shrinkage. The #2010 can be built up to a thickness of 1/2 inch in one application and dry within 3 hours in warm temperatures (70°F) and humidity levels below 75%. Pot life of the mixed components in a closed container is 30 minutes.

USES
SEALMARK #2010 product is used to fill panel seams, buildup low areas in all wall substrates,
fill cracks, and aid in the installation of corner beads by building out low areas and leveling the wall substrate to the beads edge. The #2010 should be used to level the wall and fill panel seams prior to the use of the #2000-A adhesive primer, wall mesh and # 2001 Base Coat.

COVERAGE
The coverage rates for SEALMARK #2010 Seam filler / wall leveler will vary greatly depending upon the width and depth of the panel seam and the depth of the walls low areas to be leveled.
A 2.5 gallon kit of the #2010 will cover 62.5 sq ft at 1/16 inch (62.5 mil). At 1/8 inch (125 mil)
31.3 sq ft.  and at 1/4 inch (250 mil) 16 sq ft.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Substrate Preparation - Surfaces must be clean, dry, structurally stable and fastened as per manufactures specifications.. Concrete and masonry substrates must age for 30 days and washed with a mild muriatic acid solution to lower surface PH to 9. before applying any Sealmark Products. On wood substrates dress all panel edges with a surface grinder. On OSB panels check for any disbonded wood chips and remove with a sharp tapping knife. Please refer to the Sealmark TEF System Application Manual for detailed instructions.

Mixing ProcedureOpen Pail and remove top tray containing (part B) from pail. Thoroughly mix the liquid portion (part A) of the Sealmark # 2010 material using a power drill and Goldblatt paddle mixer. Mix until smooth and creamy, approximately 45 seconds. While mixing, slowly add the contents of the tray cement powder (part B) to the liquid material in the pail and continue to mix until smooth and creamy approximately 90 seconds. NOTE! Up to 4 ounces of clean water can be added to aid in mixing.

Application- Once the wall substrate is prepared and inspected, apply the mixed #2010 with a putty knife to all wall panel seams, knife in material to fill void and remove any excess material. Completed seam area should be smooth and level with the surrounding surface. Use a long straight edge or string to locate any wall surface depressions. Once the depressions are located, use a hawk and trowel to apply the #2010 to the wall and then use straight edge or slicker to fill in and level the wall depressions. Be careful to feather in all edges of the #2010 material to the wall substrate. After all seams and depressions are filled in recheck wall for levelness. When the #2010 application is completed to Sealmark specifications allow #2010 to dry before proceeding with the # 2000-A adhesive primer and the rest of the TEF System. Please refer to the Sealmark TEF System Application Manual for detailed instructions.
Clean Up -  Use soap and water for clean up.  System materials are water-borne and are non-toxic.  Prior to curing, system materials are water soluble.  Clean up any spills, over-spray, or residue of the system materials before they have time to set.  Cured or dried system materials are not water soluble and may prove to be difficult to impossible to remove without damage to substrate or other materials upon which they have dried.  Dispose of waste materials and empty containers into an approved waste disposal facility.  Never dump materials into storm or sanitary sewers, nor into bodies of water
STORAGE
SEALMARK #2010 ( Seam Filler) must be stored at a continuous temperature of at least 40°F or higher.  Storing in temperatures closest to normal room temperature 70°F will result in easier application. ALWAYS AVOID FREEZING.  Always store in tightly sealed container and away from direct sunlight. Shelf life of all SEALMARK products is for a period of 12 months after products are manufactured.
CAUTIONS
As with any type of application, take the appropriate steps necessary to ensure that clean up of #2010 is achieved with minimal effort.  This means properly tarp/secure application area as to prevent unintended application as product may prove to be difficult to impossible to remove.  SOME WALL SUBSTRATES MAY HAVE BEEN COATED WITH A CLEAR SILICON WATER REPELLENT THAT WOULD ADVERSELY AFFECT THE ADHESION OF SEALMARK PRODUCTS.  IF APPLICATION OF THE SILICON TREATMENT IS UNKNOWN, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A TEST APPLICATION BE APPLIED TO THE SUBSTRATE AND CHECKED AFTER CURING FOR ADHESION.
